Wrapping unit to bundle cables

The wrapping unit is designed to bundle cables or HDPE (high-density polyethylene pipes) ducts in trefoil. This machine is used to wrap a string around the ducts or cables with the aim to keep their position during the laying operation. It is a solution to wrap up the unipolar cables in the clover configuration. This process enables to lay cables and ducts in a very accurate and steady way during the mechanical laying process. This operation permits to use reels with longer cables, thus minimizing the number of joints and reducing the related costs.
